The Loudoun Walking Club sponsors walks that showcase the county.
To give you alternatives to walking around your neighborhood, our club has laid out routes in some of the most picturesque places in Loudoun County.
The walks are recreational and non-competitive, and allow ample time to finish. Set your pace and pause whenever you like--to catch your breath, play, shop, sightsee, eat.
We team with other organizations to sponsor walks on three Saturdays during the year--in Claude Moore Park for National Trails Day (May 20, 2017) and Lovettsville for Oktoberfest September 23, 2017).
The Leesburg VFW Post decided against a Veterans Day (November 11, 2017) walk so it has been cancelled.
We also work with local businesses to give you off-the-beaten path places to walk almost any day of the year--in Cascades' Algonkian Regional Park, Ashburn, Sterling's Claude Moore Park, Leesburg (2), and Purcellville.
For pertinent information you need to know about our AVA-sanctioned IVV walks click on General Walk Information first; then click on Year-Round Walks for information unique to them. Then go to the walk page of your choice for its specifics.
