Sterling/Claude Moore Park, VA Year-Round Walk (YR0820)
Walk 5 or 10 kilometers (3 or 6 miles) through this largely wooded park. You'll walk on natural surface trails around the park. (AVA Trail Rating 1C)
The visitors center (703-421-0443) adjacent to the Lanesville Heritage Area opens around 7:30 am daily. Park in the lot in front. The Walk Box is in the vestibule on the left. In the rack you'll find information about the park and activity sheets for children; inside is a small activity area for children. From the south entrance there is an indoor water park and pool at the recreation center.
